Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of africalandmarks.com (the "Site") and any order you place on it. They apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy. By browsing the Site or buying from it you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use the Site.

1. Who you are dealing with

Africalandmarks is the trading name of STYLE STASH LLC, based in CLINTON, MO. We sell Travel & Outdoor Living products through this online store and nowhere else.

2. Who may order

You may use the Site if you are at least 18 years of age, or if you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree that the information you give us — name, delivery address, billing details and contact details — is accurate, current and complete. An order that cannot be delivered because the address was wrong is not a fault we can correct after dispatch.

3. Your account

If you create an account, the login credentials are yours to look after. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us at support@africalandmarks.com immediately if you suspect someone else has access to it.

4. Products and availability

We sell Travel & Outdoor Living goods. Products are as described on their own pages, and every product page carries the materials, measurements and quantities stated by the maker. We may change, update or withdraw any listing at any time and without notice. Screen colours vary between devices, and a small variation between a photograph and the item you receive is not a defect.

5. Prices, tax and errors

Prices are shown on the Site in US Dollars (USD) and do not include applicable sales tax unless the page says otherwise. The full total — goods, tax and any shipping — is displayed at checkout before you confirm. Prices may change at any time. Despite our care, a listing may occasionally carry an incorrect price or description; where that happens we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full rather than fulfil it at the wrong figure.

6. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email acknowledges that we received it; a contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order — for example where the item is unavailable, where the payment cannot be verified, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.

7. Payment

We accept Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, and UnionPay. Payment is taken securely at checkout through Shopify Payments. Card details are never stored on our servers, there are no hidden charges, and every cost is displayed before you confirm the purchase.

8. Shipping

We ship only within the United States, to all 50 states. There is no international shipping and no expedited service. Standard shipping is free with no minimum order. Full details of processing and transit times are in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Cancellations

If you need to cancel, write to support@africalandmarks.com as quickly as possible. We will stop an order that has not yet been processed or handed to the carrier; once it has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled and the Refund & Returns Policy applies instead.

10. Returns and refunds

We accept returns for manufacturing defects, damage in transit and wrong items received. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Eligibility, time limits and the steps to follow are set out in full in our Refund & Returns Policy.

11. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• interfere with its security, availability or operation;
• scrape, copy or republish its content without our written permission;
• upload malicious software or harmful code;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems.

12. Intellectual property

The content of the Site — text, product photography, graphics, layout, logos and trademarks — is owned by or licensed to Africalandmarks and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish or exploit any of it without our prior written consent.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and the products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the Site accurate and reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Nothing here removes a right you hold under applicable consumer law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Africalandmarks and STYLE STASH LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or your purchase of a product, including loss of data, revenue or profit, however caused.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STYLE STASH LLC, its officers and its employees against any claim, loss, liability or reasonable expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why we hold it and who else sees it.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The revised version is published on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the Site after that date means you accept it.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and of the United States. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site is to be brought before the courts located in State of Missouri.
