Two galvanized steel bookends cut as a cat peeking round the end of a row. The silhouette does the decorating; the thick metal does the work, holding heavy hardbacks upright where a light resin bookend would simply slide.
Set: 2 bookends in a sleek black finish
Size: 6 in x 4 in x 1.2 in each
Material: galvanized steel — rust-proof, waterproof and stronger than moulded resin
Base: non-slip, so the pair stays put on a polished shelf
Holds: books, CDs and DVDs
They suit a home shelf, an office, a library or a café counter, and the black finish sits comfortably with modern, farmhouse or eclectic furniture.
Tip: place one at each end of the row; for a heavy run of books, slide the base flat under the first book so its weight anchors the bookend.
