A mini metal padlock with a keyed cylinder, sized for the zip pulls on a suitcase rather than for a garden gate. It is the difference between a bag that opens by accident in a hold and one that does not, and it discourages the casual hand in a hostel dormitory.
Body: metal, compact mini format
Keys: two supplied with the lock
Finish: black; the range runs to eight colours
Contents: one padlock
Use it on suitcase and backpack zips, storage boxes, a laptop bag or a gym locker. Because the keys are small, the sensible habit is one on the keyring and one left at home.
Keep the shackle clean and dry; a drop of light oil in the cylinder once a season keeps the key turning smoothly.
